It is that time of year when we let all the chips fall where they may. We are the 2 time reigning "Golden Lantern Award" winner and we are damn proud of it. But that simply is not enough, we are striving for greatness here at The Kings Club Barber Shop. A three peat would put us up there with the likes of true Champions. Three Generations
As a profesional barber it is about the community we work in and our clients that live there. On many occasions we have had discussions about how cool it is to have father/son combinations in the chairs at the same time. The Kings Club Canned Food Drive and Holiday Party!
In conjunction with the City of Dana Point's Winter Carnival we will be kicking off our 3rd Annual Canned Food Drive at our 2011 Holiday Party. This our favorite time of year here in the Barber Shop and we are happy to have partnered up with the 2nd Harvest Food Bank for the event. So come down to the Shop with a canned good on Saturday December 10th and enjoy The Harmony Partners Barbershop Quartet and some Holiday Cheer. Merry Christmas! mtb...

We were lucky enough to be visited by a photographer from San Diego last week. He contacted us because he is working on putting together a book of stand alone barber shops across the USA. Sounded mello enough to us until we saw his artillery of cameras, flashes and gear and we got the feeling this would be a project we wanted to be a part of... mtb

Winter Festival and Kings Club Holiday Party 2010
This winter has us wrapping up 2010 with a lot of holiday cheer at the Kings Club Barber Shop. We kicked off our Canned Food Drive with our Annual Holiday Party last Saturday. It was quite a hoot. We welcomed back our favorite barbershop quartet The Harmony Partners and Scotty relinquished beverage duties to our favorite bartender "Taxidermy Craig". While the Embassy Room was serving up the holiday cheer, Boston was recruiting votes for his run for City Council and I hear there was a Gary Larson sighting. Speaking of City Counsil the Mayor of Dana Point dropped in on his way to flipping the switch for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and all was well.
To those that stopped by and brought gifts for the Canned Food Drive and for the Barber Shop, Thank you. It has been an unbelievable year and we appreciate your support... mtb
